Muscovy Drake Fight Question!

Since my Muscovy drakes are still young, I wanted to ask about if they'd fight each other to the death? I heard they'd often fight for dominance so I just needed to know and be ready if it ever happens. Is there anything I could to do prevent it?

Some do fight, and I guess they could fight to the death. Most serious fight between mine resulted in a broken wing. IMO, the best way to avoid too much fighting it to give them lots of room to roam.

What is your female to male ratio?

Haven't seen my drakes fight as well. Have 2 males at 5 months old. They'll hiss and maybe a nip or two, but the lessor always gives in, so pecking order has already been established.

ok...so then you will need to separate them, but make sure they can see each other so they don't get to lonely.

You have 3 ducks and 2 are drakes? If so you defiantly need more females.

They would only need to separate if the fighting got out of control. I believe the original post was a "what if" scenario type question. All male flocks can get along.
