Muscovy duck alone?

I am hoping that a Muscovy duck can live with four chickens without having another duck for company.

Also, wondering how often a duck will lay an egg? Is it the same as chickens?

do they get along now? if they do, i would say go for it. companionship, just like with people, is the most important. the specifics don't always count.

Well, they can't really get along right now LOL

the hens still live in another home, the duck has not yet been found.

I don't want to get a duck if she's not going to be happy living w/o other ducks and with four hens!

Do you know how often Muscovy ducks lay an egg?

until i got geese and more ducks, my duck hung out with the goats. he preened one of the girl goat's beards for her. he was too stuck up for the chikcnes. but i'm figure if mine can get a crush on a girl goat (until something better came along then he left her in the dust) yours can probably enjoy chickens.

dont know how often they lay.
