When I picked out these two babies I assumed they were probably lavender muscovies. Now that they're fledging out they definitely seem to have too much of a brown hue to be lavenders. I have three ducks numbered 1-3 in the first picture. 1 and 2 (the two I thought were lavender) are were nearly identical as hatchlings, though number two was almost indistinguishably darker. Number 3 is a chocolate for reference. Now 1 and 2 are much different in color, with 2 developing almost chocolate looking feathers. The last picture is number 1 as a chick if that helps. Any help is appreciated.

May be too soon to tell as they will molt again and their true color will show. I've had duckling hatch and I was so excited to see their only to see them change after molt and get disappointed
