Muscovy duck coughing?

I noticed lately for the last couple of days my muscovy Drake has been making a weird coughing/clearing his throat noise. I noticed him making it today after I gave him some lettuce.

Hi, just a couple of questions to help us out, how old is he? And Where are you located?

Does he get enough water to wash down his food?.Possibly something stuck in his throat..Usually nothing to worry about..

Make sure he has plenty of deep buckets of fresh water. add some ACV to one of his buckets 1 Tab to 1 gal this is a good tonic .

He’s about 6 months old and we’re in Massachusetts.

Sometimes my Muscovy's will eat so fast they get something stuck and after drinking water and working on it they manage to get it down. Hope that is all that is going on with your drake.
