Thanks@littlepip, i can hear it chirping like it is struggling to get out of the shell, how am i able to know that the duckling needs to get out now? Should i make a larger hole? How will i also know if the duckling already absorbed the yolk and the blood vessels have receded? @Pyxis?

Is the duckling thrusting outwards with its beak like it is trying to break the shell? Does it yawn or make nibbling motions? My chicken chicks do a lot of the eating/nibbling motion when they are still absorbing and not ready to come out yet, once they completely stop that and are frequently thrusting outwards with their beak I'll help them unless they manage to start zipping on their own. A lot of mine have started peeping more when they want out too.

Honestly I got all my best assisted hatching advice from Pyxis' article, paying attention to the nibbling/yawning has been a lifesaver for me!

Yes it looks like it's beak is chewing something, is it okay that i made a large hole where the duckling already pipped? So it may be absorbing yolk?

Yes it means the little one is still absorbing its yolk and it's not ready to come out yet. Those veins will recede and won't be very noticeable when the baby is closer to being ready to hatch.

The hole you made shouldn't be a problem, just make sure the inner membrane stays damp where it is exposed (as long as you can see through it it's fine, if it starts turning white looking you may need to put a little coconut oil on it to keep it from drying out).

Just leave it be. Ducklings can take a very long time from pip to zip. Everything looks good, so just let it rest, and chances are it will hatch by itself.

It hatched! But half of it's body is still connected to the shell!
