Hello! I have a Muscovy duck that has been laying for about two years and has had eight ducklings. So now I am letting her have some more. I went to candle it today when she was off her nest eating, and I noticed that when I just held it in my hand regular, I could see the air sac without even candling it. It’s close to hatching because I can only see the air sac. Do you know why I can see through the shell and see the darkness of the duckling and the air sac without a flashlight? I have never seen this in any of her eggs. Thanks!
