Duck droppings tend to be much runnier than chicken droppings, but like chicken droppings,
duck droppings can look quite diverse. If they’re poorly formed, pasty, watery, strong smelling, black, bloody, yellow, neon green, or foamy, it could be a sign of parasites, illness, or improper nutrition. If you’re particularly concerned by a dropping, you can bring it into your veterinarian for a fecal float test for analysis, though you should consider fecal testing healthy-seeming birds once every three months to check for internal parasites.
