My name is Hayder. I do not own any birds now but we used to own chicken, ducks and pigeons when I was a boy/teen. Although it feels like a long time ago but they certainly left their impression and i always loved birds.
I wanted to join this online community to get better education about birds in areas where I can help. Actually a duck at a north Texas park which may need my help prompted my joining.
I regularly go to the park, I seen that particular duck as a duckling about 3-4 months ago at the most so that's its' approximate age.
During the last couple of weeks I noticed some of the feathers of its' left wing at pointed up, I did some research and I found the term "angle wing", in the same article i found this may be caused be deficiency of vitamin D and E : Angel wing
I called wildlife, lady told me this deformation happens all the time. I even thought of giving food with a little slice of vitamin D supplement pill, but I decided against it thinking that it is an ignorant thing to do, given my lack of biology knowledge.
Plus i think that this duck probably needs actual wrapping/fixing work more than it needs a supplement.
This duck is the youngest in the group, so the others usually pick on it and chase it away, which i initially thought that this is what it was, but from the pictures I seen in the "Angel Wing" article url i attached, it made me think otherwise.
Can someone tell if this is actually an "angel wing" situation, I am attaching a picture i took today to help identify.
Thank you

Yes, that appears to be angel wing, and it is probably at the point where it can not be repaired. The good news is that it does not cause the bird pain . It's just unsightly.
