Hi, new to the group and new to ducks. Just got three young Muscovies, big but don't have their mature wing feathers yet (unsure of age). I am currently feeding them chicken grower, as that is what the local feed store gave my husband when he asked for duck feed I know it is not high enough in protein and have read some people's comments that niacin can be supplemented. My question is: how (what product?) and how much?

As for niacin you can add the liquid b complex that is sold at tsc or a brand at Walmart. Or brewers yeast add 1 tablespoon per cup. Not sure of the amount of liquid though. @CayugaJana knows how much liquid vitamin b to add.
I have raised my muscovies on flock raiser and it has been great since I didn't have to add anything to their feed while younger. I add oyster shell for layers later on or provide it in a separate dish.

Game bird or turkey starter are good choices if you can get it.
