Hey guys,

just wanted to run something by you helpful people :)
One my ducklings (7weeks) has bits of straw bedding stuck in one nostril. Eating, drinking, pooping playing, all fine.
I have three large kiddie pools for them.

How long am I waiting for the ducky to blow it out by itself until I intervene? Doesn’t seem to be bother by it right now.

Thank you

You should remove it ASAP.

Thank you so much for that!
I removed it.

I had someone hold the duckling and I carefully removed the piece with tweezers.
Here some educational pictures:

As you can see this was fairly long and the duckling gave a little peep removing it.

Thank you again guys ❤️

Great job, maybe it's just me but it looks like there is still a piece of in in there in the second picture?

I know what you mean but I am certain it’s part of their anatomy. They all have it. Maybe someone knows the proper term.
