Is it normal for muscovy ducklings to step on their own feet? Mine seem to toe inwards (varus) especially when they first get up from laying down. They seem to get around fine though.

Is this something genetic or something they outgrow? I'm planning on keeping two females and a male from freezer camp and should I avoid these particular ducklings? Not all are showing this tendency.

I saw some muscovy ducklings at the park and they were stumbling over their feet so it must be normal. I am attempting to hatch one now (my first time).

My (Khaki campbell) ducks are adults now, nd still trip all the time. Mostly they trip right after I put the food out, and when the maale is chasing the dogs away, but they did trip when they were ducklings too. I wouldn't worry about it.

I always say my muscovies are pigeon toed. LOL For that very reason.... their feet seem to turn in a little and they do look like the trip over them sometimes.

my muscovy doesn't know what she is.. she's pigeon toed, walks like a chicken, honks like a goose, and sleeps like a flamingo

and my drake steps on his own feet all the time. he's too big for his own good.
