Muscovy ducklings with bald spots??

Hi! We are new to ducks this year. We have two mallards and two muscovys. Our muscovys are younger. I noticed the ~8-10 week old looks like it has bald spots on its back and now the one that is a couple weeks younger looks like it has it also. Is this normal or any ideas of what may be causing this?

Looks like feathers are coming in. Are you referring to the sides of the tail?

Are you talking about the flanks? Teenage muscovies are not the cutest, I'll be honest. It could be picking or just a really ugly first feathering. I haven't raised up ducks that young in a while though so memory may be failing me. Sit with the ducks for a while just to observe them and see if there is a bully.

I haven't noticed a bully. I've watched them a while. They all actually seem to get along well.
