Muscovy Ducks

Hello,

Ok someone just gave us 6 unsexed Muscovy's
( we have not had this breed before)

3- 4 Month old
3- 6 week old

The babies look like they will be Lavender Muscovy's not sure about the adults
Also anything I need to know about the Muscovy's?

They are gorgeous ducks and can be very friendly if you spend time with them. They wag their tails and the drakes huff and hiss the females coo and trill. I love my Muscovy's

They do fly very well so if you live where they can fly off and maybe land in some ones back yard with dogs you might want to clip a wing to keep them grounded.

They aren't as crazy about water as other water fowl but they do appreciate having a kiddy pool to bath in.
