Muscovy excitement! (and questions)

We shall see! It doesnt matter too much whatever it is. Either way, its turning out to look adorable!

The duckies are 2-2.5 weeks old now, and they are growing fast! I sold 4, so 5 left here in the flock. It's very warm outside already, so they are enjoying daily outings, eating worms, slugs, bugs, and lots of weeds. They absolutely love greens, including dandelion leaves. In fact, they get rather cross and give me that duck look when I don't throw a handful of leaves into the brooder now and again.

Even the 5 that are left are looking a bit cramped in the big rubbermaid, I may have to move them to an outside shelter sooner than expected.

Moved them to the outdoor residence today. And lots of foraging time. They are still calling for me, they have food and water and don't seem to be cold, I think they just want back out into the garden for more tasty ants. Or maybe just homesick for their old Rubbermaid tub?

I moved mine outside last week. They seem to be okay!! I think they might miss the indoor living, but after they see what outside has to offer, they'll be fine!!

Oh they love it outside. I still need to add a run and a door so they can go outside at will. They may not quack but they sure cheep loudly when something isn't to their liking.

How old are they??? My mascovy baby is 3 weeks and huge! Thinking of starting his new house outside!

Theyre about 9 weeks now! It was pouring down rain here todayand they were standing in it flapping their wings! It was so cute!!

It was starting to poop everywhere, push the other eggs around, and tear everything apart, so I moved to the brooder.

One in the brooder, two in the incubator, they can hear each other, and I think they are trying to get to each other.

That's so sweet! And that baby is precious!
