As I stated in an earlier post, I thought that something had gotten my female muscovy today. The struggling signs in the snow did not look promising. However, Dh came in this evening with the report that he found her sleeping in a different chicken coop this evening - not in the yard she normally lives. So, I guess the signs of struggle I found were just signs of her taking off to fly elsewhere. I'll let her stay where she is because her mate isn't feeling very well. He's a bit congested but other than that, acting fine.
