Muscovy genders

It's really too soon to tell. From 6 weeks old the males continue to grow but the females don't

The females get a sweet little gurgling voice that drakes do not. Once there are gurgles you know for certain which are female

I had Max who was thought to be male as he grew so rapidly as a rescued duckling, but he stopped growing at 6 weeks old and then it became obvious Max was Maxine when she started gurgling.

I have Daffy who I thought was female as he was small and gentle. He kept growing and growing and became a 14lb magnificent drake. He's nolonger gentle -- when he follows me round the backyard, he is fond of biting my shins and ankles.
Maxine, I love it!!

I’m leaning towards 2.5 females. One is slightly less feathered. All are the same size with similar sized feet. All look feminine to me. But one sits more often. We’ll see if that one gets bigger than the others and develops caruncles sooner.

In the first pic, the duckling has some thick legs. Is that one of them that you're thinking is male?

I can’t really tell them apart well at this point, so I’m not sure. I’m pretty sure the solid black one is female and one of the pied ones. But the pied ones are looking more solid black currently as their feathers come in.

My all black one died suddenly. No clue why. No one was sick.
The remaining two appear to be one of each. One is feathered with thin legs, the other not so many feathers and thick eggs.
