Muscovy hen's wing is hanging down...Help?

That's the only reason I can think of is heat especially if she is acting normal other wise. You don't notice any of your others doing this. Does she twitch them? my Muscovy's do the twitching especially after they have been in the water.

Yes, she is the only one doing this. I've seen my adult hen twitch her wings before after she's been in the water, or preening. I saw the hen doing this too, and probably the others. But she is the only one with both wings hanging down, now.

I have noticed her twitching them. When I went outside she was preening, but she then walked off, and even after a little while she kept both hanging down.

The wing is nice and tight which probably means nothing is broken, but it looks like it's hanging a bit from the shoulder, those muscles are easy to strain cause it's the hinge for the whole wing. She might just need to rest it; I'd keep an eye on the wing tip - if you notice that starting to droop...or get dirty...you might need to wrap it for a bit

I was thinking about possible wrapping too but she would have to keep her penned so she didn't get into water to swim. And yes sprain is another theory we have been tossing around. How do you get a duck to rest her wing muscles? lol
