Muscovy keepers share your pics!

New to the world of ducks! I love them! Still yet to discover genders of my 4 moscovies.

I can finally let my birds out for supervised foraging time. I also set up the pool. The ducklings have even started leaving the coop.

lol, yes Miss Lydia, I was talking about Joy.

For the people who were asking how to make that color though? As someone said, blue and chocolate make blue fawn. I had someone send me photos a while ago showing that there is a light phase and a dark phase of it, even in Muscovy (which I had no idea!). Apparently there is a version which is more red like Joy and a version which is more blue. I wish I still had those photos on hand. I Love the red version of blue fawn!

This is my first time posting on this thread! We currently have 40 muscovies of various juvenile ages. Most will be dinner, but we'll be keeping one male and 5-6 females to breed. I really want to keep our white-head blue male--there aren't a lot of people with blue in my area and I'd love to be able to sell some blue/lilac babies next year. But my husband wants to keep one of our barred black/white males since our toddler named it already. Which would you keep?

This last one isn't a great picture, but it's my favorite female. She's always right by my side as I do my chores. I love her little black legs with orange feet :)

Thank you! We have a couple Pekins, Swedish, and welsh harlequins and they just haven't stolen my heart like these guys!
