He looks very content. Is he an only duck? I love the white and red, I had 3 lovely white Scovy girls they have all passed away from old age, my last one was 11 yrs old.

Yes Ma'am he's our one and only and he'll be 3 in April, we hope he lives a long time with us also. Actually I couldn't figure out why he lost his black feathers, he had black spots on his head and one was heart shaped, his very first molt he lost them and he turned all white, both his parents and rest of the family all have black patches, would you know why it happens? Or have you heard of others?

Every year when my drake molts he looks entirely different. lol

only 1 of my ducks remained with black head. even 3 mo babies are changing colouring.and half of them already left their coop and moved to the chickens coop, lol. their choice!

I have 2 male and 1 female Moscovy. They are about 5 months old. When do the remake start to lay eggs.
@JessLonn She will not lay till next spring, But if I was you in the mean time I'd look for some more females having 2 drakes and 1 female isn't so good not only will they fight but they will over mate your female. best to have at least 3-4 females to every drake. Your Scovy's are pretty.

Today after molting this year

@iCookie all my Scovy's that started out with color on their heads ended up being white headed. So yours losing that bit of blk and heart shaped so cute too is very normal.
It amazes me the transition they make. That is one of the things so cool about Muscovy's.
