Muscovy keepers share your pics!

I promised the hubby, no more Muscovys unless it's a color I don't have. I have 2 drakes, 5 hens and 10 ducklings. I bought the ducklings so they are not related to my adults. So I have a pretty strong start to my flock.

Drake: Black and White Pied
Drake: Lilac
Hen: Black
Hen: Blue Pied
Hen: Blue Pied
Hen: Chocolate
Hen: White

The ducklings are 5 Barred, 1 Chocolate Barred, 4 Chocolate and 1 unknown, could be White.

It's going to be a challenge figuring out who to breed to who.

You do have a great start to your flock. Congrats on all the colors.

I believe I will breed the Black Pied to the Black hen and the White hen to try and discover if he has any hidden traits and then breed the Lilac to the Chocolate hen and the two Blue Pied hens as they should produce some wonderful colors.

What do you all think?

Hi, I'm new here and this is my first post.

Introducing Franki. We rescued her as a duckling. I know one duck is not ideal, but not much we can do now - she's like a pet puppy!!

We guess that she is about 3-4 months old now (we got her in October 2015). But are now thinking she may actually be a HE! Any ideas?! I'm new to ducks, and the more I read the more confused I get. Plus I have nothing to compare her too...she has changed her sound from sweet little chirps to more of a raspy huff and she's started to get defensive when I come near her (only me though, not my partner). She even pecked me a few times the other day and when I stood up and told her 'no!' she flew/charged at me and went for my feet!!!

any help would be greatly appreciated

looks like drake to me but I am not an expert.

one of my scovies started to lay. last 2 times they laid every day. this time she laid about 10 eggs, then 1 day no egg, the next day she laid and I left that egg in the nest. today I didn't find a new egg, there is just a yesterday's egg. what are the chances she gets broody?

last time they already started to spend some time in the nest while laying the last eggs. this time I don't see any of them in the nest so I am just guessing which one laid those eggs.
