Does anyone or has anyone had a muskovy girl vanish to brood out her ducklings? First year laying, her sisters are building a clutch in the coop but her eggs (for about a week) and now her as of last night are missing...

I have, and sometimes they never came back like, something got them. I know they were nesting because they would come back home every now and then from the neighbors and also they would make those high pitched whines when a male came near them ,and then, I never saw them again

Ducklings first fish hunt.


They went to their new home yesterday. A fellow BYCer. The little girl on the right will be a lilac, the drake will be silver or buff.

I might submit this picture for the calendar contest. My daughter took it with her new camera.
