It's nice to get up in the a.m. and see new posts of Scovie pic's.

One of our juvenile scovy girls made her maiden flight yesterday. Was quite a sight.

Had all the other Scovies talking up a storm once she landed.

I love my Muscovys.. The first muscovys that I got was went I was about 10. I told my papaw that I wanted some ducks and he got me 3 muscovys so for many years we had them.. After they died we did not have any for many years..I looked for 2 years before I find my first Muscovys that was real muscovys, but I have had them for about 5 years now and that is my duck for life.....
This year I have chocs. and I love them, so next year I want to breed choc. and blue to see what I get....

I believe that pattern is duclair pied. Magpie or "tuxedo" pattern.

Here are some new pictures of my babies. I can't believe how quickly they grow! I am also looking to you wise experts if you can tell the gender of any of them yet...I have my suspicions, but it's hard to tell...it may be too early!

Here is the gang....

The one laying down in the front is named Goose, and the oldest...about 5 1/2 weeks, i think... The one standing in the back and the one standing on the right are the next two oldest, at about 4 1/2 weeks. The smallest one in the middle is 3 1/2 weeks...any ideas on gender?

This one is Sassy....i am relatively certain that she is a she.... i hope!
