Muscovy keepers share your pics!

I have the Muscovy Fever! Going to drive an hour just to look at Muscovy's and possibly buy more! Going insane about my Muscovy ducklings due to hatch sometime next week :fl. Hoping the girls are doing a good job. It's their first time going broody and hatching their eggs.

Also What Gene is a gray pied called? Would that be lavender pied?

I'm positive they are all pure muscovies. I've been doing it in an incubator but that shouldn't be an issue. I see a bullseye (every morning for breakfast!) so that really has me scratching my head.

Thanks! I feel like there should still be some development though regardless of whether or not incubation is difficult with muscovies...

Do you wash your eggs or how old is the eggs before you started incubating? Maybe your incubator might not be working properly. I once bought 65 Muscovy eggs for $150 and shipping. My incubator heater had burned up and I never noticed until lock down when I candled and had no development! My incubator has automatic water. And I didn't candle at all.

And I will be sure to share pictures!

You are correct. The difficulty with incubating Muscovy eggs occurs closer to hatching. How old is your male? How many girls do you have? The female has the ability to get rid of the semen from a male she does not want to be the father of her offspring. So, there could be several factors playing into this.

I have a barred Muscovy and a white Muscovy suppose to be females. But my barred is about 6-7 months, and has developed this lump on the beak. It is the same size as my females and is just starting to develop the red around the eyes just like my other female that is the same as. And my white one is 3 months old and is as big as my females.
My question is, could my barred still be a female?
How big should my white 3 month old be? Should it be same size as my adult females?

I have 1 boy to originally 4 girls--but now 6. He's over a year old and very enthusiastic about uhh becoming a father. I suppose if they can get rid of semen... they just don't like him. lol birdy birth control?

Eggs are maybe 2-3 days old, on the counter, air sac up when I start. I have a sepparate thermometer and hydrometer and it looks like it's working properly.
