Been below 0° and down to -20°s wind chill here overnights few times in last couple weeks.
Never had issue with it on muscovies before.
I have a ton of leghorns and its getting terrible for them.
I hate winter.
Unfortunately I've got too many too put bag balm on. As far as chickens at least.
We always have bad winters but this year started earlier and has been extra cold.
I always deal with it on my leghorns roosters but its bad so far I've even got hens showing signs. I'm afraid everyone is going to be sporting dubs by spring.
3 roos and 2 scovy's I am doing and 5 Salmon Faverolles, everyone else looks good so far. My other scovy's don't have knobs. So yeah I don't have many to do.

My Muscovy's are starting to breed again! Couple of my girls have been rearranging the hay in their coops making little hay nests. No feather plucking or eggs yet! But last year they did the same thing and with in a couple days to a week I started getting eggs. So fingers crossed!
