ian if your on tonight will you give me some ideas on colors , this duck was light fawn when we got her last Sept. at 3 months she just finished molting and is now getting blue along with chocolate coloring ever seen anything like this? and my little duck Dolly is 5 weeks old and I am seeing chocolate with blue coming in, probably too early to judge coloring on her? Thank you.

I was just doing some research on Muscovy coloring and it looks like when they become mature (molting I assume) they become nearly solid in color with limited barring on their back, belly, and legs.
mine never look like they do when they are ducklings, they'll have varying amounts on the belly, back and wings and change with each moult.

Now,I am looking at the top picture & I'm wondering why is it the baby has her red face already but Daisy just turned 9 months & her face isn't red? Am I feeding her the wrong food or something?

I'm just guessing lol since she's a house duck and the other is an outdoor duck??
