Actually, now that I have for sure REAL girls to compare, I am thinking the origional 7 may well be all males. The dominant male was erhmmmm "mating" a couple of them. But then he did the same thing to a mature male I got with with one of the new batch. Ohhh ooooooops! He was glad to see the girls too tho so maybe his orientation will straighten out. I ended up with the origional 7. 3F from a breeder that culls for breast and 12F and 2M from a third (from an origional base of 4) - so I'll have some genetic diversity to work with.

Daisy says she misses everyone here!
She has been molting & not very happy to be picked up so I've been letting her just hang out in her room & in the shower.
She now has a white head!

I always thought both genders of muscovies had the mohawk. One of the members thinks my white duck is an female. I wish I knew someone close to me did vent sexing to find out 100% of the gender of them. I heard stories of thought their muscovy was an female and it came out to be male and that they are hard to sex by looking at them.
