OK, i am wondering about my 3 girls. How long before scovies will lay eggs? My babies were born around the 20th of May. They are just adorable, quiet sweet girls. The drake does hiss a lot, but he is just bossy
Have not seen any mating at all, no eggs, nothing. I have seen him grabbing at the girls tails when they are in the pond...This is my first real experience with ducks, aside from a few mallard chicks that i was given that were abandoned. I raised them, they left. My muscovies eat well, a lot and have to watch them or their crops look like they will explode! Have a nice pond with a creek. I do not clip wings, they range 5 acres and are cooped every night.
