Mama's do the bestest job of hatching! Duck eggs aren't the easiet to bator tho if you look back a few pages there were some great detailed instructions. I found another couple nests started here but several girls are waddeling back out of the brush at feeding time so I'm expecting 6 weeks or so from now a whole truck load of babies to come following behind moms. The nests I can find at this point going to keep plucking all but a handful of eggs to let hatch. That's what I have been doing but, I wanted to collect some eggs to hatch but I don't know we're there laying or if they are even laying.
Keep an eye out where they go at night - at first, esp. if it's cold they'll be on the nest.
