Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Is that a couple of silvers? LUV the color! On the whites, looks like the one in front L of the waterer looks female. Heads and size of the other 3 look like boys - one hiding behind is hard to tell. Talk about dedicated broody mama's.... Earlier 2 kittys had horned in on her nest - they don't much like the cold damp front that came in. But is she budging? Nooooooooooo!
Hahaha that is soo funny!!!

Actually I'm starting to think she has the cats trained as egg-sitters. I went out a while ago and she and the duck nesting in the box right next to her were out taking a break gallavanting - and kittys were curled up on those nice warm eggs!

Have to wonder just how tolerant the girls will be once the ducklings hatch.
My cats are hunters. Not up to adults, but babies........

Anybody decent at sexing white muscovies?

Beautiful scovies for sure! Ducks usually have small feet, more compact body, like a footbal. They also develop their filght feather faster than drakes. Drakes of course are larger, big feet, thick legs, wide stance...they will start to develop their caruncles faster than females. Drakes usually develop their caruncles faster than they can fly. Females can usually fly before they develop full caruncles. I love, love my muscovy!

My muscovy Daisy Not liking my Nephew holding the silkie and not giving him love! My drakes thank they are kings of the pen and want all the love when we go out to see them.
My Drake Rimmington He is my lover boy, and my little Whisper (female). She is my girl. She loves to be held and loved on! I love my duckies. :)

Rimmington He is so handsome! So loving and sweet!
