The feets look good.
My first scovies were on a swap. Supposed to be 6 ducks and 1 drake.
They finially showed up so late it was dark, drizzling, cold, past ready for bed.
Nearly drove myself crazy until finially realizing .......7 drakes.

I thought so - traded him 1 for 1 on half grown guineas - straight run was a tad to early to determine sex. He'd traded someone else for a group of scovy prior. Had some nerve tho - later wanted to come back and get a drake on the cheap to breed the DUCKS he'd kept! Haggle with me even. He lost all but one guinea to an owl and wanted to haggle on getting more from me on the cheap too.

Some people got a dang nerve don't they?

Yup. Slick Willy types always eventually manage to step on thier beaks. (haha you know what I mean).

You try to stay on the right side of being open to trust enough without stupid about it. You get burnt on ocassion - once. Most times tho not worth embracing into your life - give it up, laugh a bit knowing things have a way of coming back around acordingly.

I found a great deal on a dozen nice mostly chocolates ducks with a chocolate and a self blue drake that could stand outcrossing and Lord knows I had the boys to do it! Three more really nice girls added in and a good base to work from. I'm going to have to cull 3 of those drakes but 4 turned out REALLY nice (and carry chocolate). Keep a duck or two out of each nest (and

another chocolate drake or two). Cull heavy in the fall and good to roll.
