Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Ok, I posted in the main section about these 2 ducks we rescued. https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/839757/any-ideas-on-breed-of-these-rescue-ducks Miss Lydia thought they were Muscovies. And now that I am comparing them out in the sunshine to our older Muscovies.... I think she is right.
Here are more pics of them. The ones in my other thread, were the ones on Craigslist that made us go get them.
What does everyone think? They are supposed to be 2 months old.
Any ideas on sex? Hoping for both females.....
They are approx. same size, very little weight on them but doing ok. We had no idea they had this much white on them, nor the black and chocolate ripples you can see on the last picture on the one on the right. That is a Little Tikes Basketball, one of those small little kids one that is right behind them for a size reference.
No carnucles yet but from what I have read or been told, that is normal for only 8+ weeks old.

So sorry to here that too Mbhabeeb!

I got a view update pics from my duckling. Not so small anymore...

Very pretty, do you think duck or drake? I could probably guess better if when you are looking at duck walking towards you does the feet almost touch and cross. ot are the legs spread apart. I;m thinking duck but boy can they fool ya to the very end. lol [legs look thick from the side and feet look big too but pics are really hard. ]body shape has me leaning more towards duck too. especially 1st pic.

I`m sooooo curious what it will be. I`ll try to make some better pics this weekend.
I`m so worried at the moment. It`s stormy and wet outside. This is the first time he/she has to go through it... And temperatures are dropping quickly! I provide them a nice comfort coop but they won`t go in it, except for food...

Not much you can do if you can't lock them in. I provide places for mine to get out of the weather besides having the doors to their house open all day long and very seldom do they use any of it unless the wind is blowing and it's snowing hard then some will get into shelter. Other than their faces they have a pretty thick under coat of down and mine will put their faces under their wings so hopefully your lil one will be fine. Have the rest of your flock accepted it?

Yes, they are one big happy family now...

I do the same thing and I think it's natural to be concerned if you can get them closed up for the night it might be a good idea. maybe using a tasty treat to entice them inside.

Here`s an update. Still not sure boy or girl. He/she is almost the same size as the older ducks.
Later this week they are expecting snow over here! Brrrr... For three of them it will be the first time. Also for my chickens. I hope they will finally use the duckhouse i build for them...
