I could order some.. in other words go out and ask any of my birds to make a nest but i think dealing with one winter nest last winter was enough to fill me for a lifetime.

Besides, i'd get drakes.

Opie is adorable and patient.

Today was the first day the hoses have thawed in over two weeks. So I filled the pool and bathes for everyone, they all look so nice and shiny. The 5 ducks went nuts. All tried to fit in a 3 duck pool at once. I love watching them and their silliness. They only get a 1 gal dish when temps are low and they get a bit grubby between warm spells.

Everyone enjoying some warmer temps and sunshine today! It has been a cold one for the past couple weeks here in northern Wisconsin.. Today was 25 degrees !
Pretty pics, they probably thought spring had sprung good thing they like to roost keeps those feet off the snow.

Boy they sure can get grubby, we had water for 3 whole days where they could bathe and play then froze again today but suppose to be spring like for a couple days again so hopefully the spring and hoses will thaw again, they are so much fun to watch playing in the water. My geese splash all the water out of the buckets so I have to cover half of the top with a piece of wood with a rock on top to keep them from doing this. This way they just dunk their heads not their necks too.
