Muscovy keepers share your pics!

They seem to love it yesterday we had horizontal rain and snow all day so I think they seemed happy when I locked them in their new warm coop

That's what counts!

hi everyone, I am new to this thread for ducks, but just wanted to stop in and say hello. I am going to be getting a trio of muscovies this coming saturday and i can't wait. First time for having ducks but i have heard a lot of good things about scovies and i love everything about the way they look! We are getting 1 drake and 2 girls to start with, being first timers and all and I believe they are supposed to be lavernders. I be sure to post pictures once they arrive safely home!

The other morning, Hershey (the Chocolate drake in the pictures) came flying out of the Duck House after I'd let them out. He flew up above the house, circled several times and then crash landed in the garden. I wish I would have been filming it! It was hilarious! I just thought for sure he'd get stuck on the roof. It still seems inconceivable to me, that a big ole' fat drake can actually fly. LOL

Hershey, Maggie (blue pied), and Dawn (white/lav)

This is one of the two Muscovy babies that hatched last year. What color would he be considered? He is absolutely gorgeous, and I think it's safe to say that Dawn is his mother.

Dawn tried to start a nest inside a fish tank/brooder...but I firmly told her that I didn't really want 20 ducklings during the middle of winter. Poor girl.

He's nice! unusual, most drakes past a certain aging cannot, i do have a few just about to turn 1yo that manage to get up to the 4ft chain link but otherwise? no way, but i have big drakes.. the shelf in the barn is enough of a challenge lol
