I know but te hard part is how I'm going to get them in it, mine really hate being confined, I'm also going to outline the woods in chicken wire to make sure I don't have enough to do the hole thing but I'm going to get part of it done today

chicken wire is to keep poultry in , not to keep things with big teeth out

for that you need chain link or welded wire fencing


where do the ducks sleep now?

i would get a big dog house if that's all i had , add a small fenced in run

then lock them in for a few days

they have to be trained to go into their house at night

if not you will soon be duck-less

Coyotes and foxes go over our 5' chain link fence and the skunks, opossums and coons go under it, but I agree, it's a much better choice than chicken wire.

I'm also setting up my fox trap , last night something got into it again but it went around the sensor again

so now im getting really angry which I already was

check a site like craigslist.com

free or cheep fencing can be had

been there done that

i got over 100' of 4 foot high chainlink last year for 40 bucks

i added 2 foot of chicken wire on top of that to keep everyone in where they belonged

we still have 3 ducklings. The 3rd looks just like number 2 sept a teeny tiny bit more white on the neck. However I saw one pipped so there will be 2-3 more hatching. Just have to wait and see.
