Mama duck is laying on a bunch of eggs. Not sure when she started though so no idea when they will hatch. I candle one or two everyday, despite her protesting. The little ones almost full the whole egg now so should have babies soon. I'm so excited. I've never had babies hatched by the momma.

That's awesome.. We had 2 different nest hatch within a week from each other(37 ducklings total)and just found another of our girls sitting on a nest of at least 12 more eggs..

I just candled a couple of the eggs and i can't see through them hardly at all. Just the air sac and a faint outline of the little one. They almost completely fill the egg., should be soon.

Ok everyone, I need advice! My drake harry is picking on the other drake that was for my friend. My friend never answers me now and now if we can figure out how to keep my drake from picking on the other, we'll keep him, but he has been shuned basically because harry picks on him so much. What can I do to help the other boy

Usually makes just take longer toget used to each other than females do, it'll be fine don't worry, maybe get the other male some hens of his own?
