Was wondering any guesses on sex ? ( sorry for crappy pics)
I think they are still too young to know for sure, but they sure are pretty.

That is my delema. I have so many at different ages but I did think the left one did look drake like.
WE have another pond that a gal and her comunity has that is free of ducks right now. So they are going on that pond. We do sell some and some have gone to freezer camp but not many. I am picking up new eggs now to control some of the population but have about 24 eggs being sat on that I know of. THose little girls can be sneeky and go places to the back woods to make a nest. LOL
We know all too well about sneaky. and since i am not letting any of my Scovy's hatch this year, I know about taking eggs up everyday and having to listen to the complaints of those going broody and those that are. Love them to pieces though.

My hen is still broody. What do I do? She wont come un broody
Well maybe we should try for broody of the year club. I have 1 broody since March, every time she comes out i think yay she's done but nope she screeches, does her broody poop eats baths and right back inside. and 1 more going on over 30 days, then I the wanna bees that I keep taking their eggs from daily and they fuss and try again the next morning. I'm thinking when the snow flies they will quit.

Then she wouldn't have any protection, I just leave them alone and let them get over it on their own. Even the drake goes in and harasses her and she still won't get up, my other one is 10yrs old and I hope she'll stay broody a little longer since it's just been over 30 days, she was laying soft shell eggs before she went broody. Gotta love these hard headed Scovys
