Like casport says, it can only make noise once it´s pipped internally. If it´snot pipped it´s always best left alone.yes I did and no it wasnt. I have not sprayed it yet.. I put it in the incubator with warm water
However, now the shell´s open, the membrane can dry and shrink-wrap the duckling, so you need to keep the membrane moist. a little water in there isn´t really enough. Some folks use wet cotton buds to dampen the membrane. If the membrane isn´t damp enough, the duckling can´t move and certainly won´t be able to hatch. Just keep it warm and damp. You could even wrap it in a damp, warm cloth.
