Muscovy keepers share your pics!

While we're on the topic, what is the longest you should leave an internal pip for with no exteranl pip before intervention?
Also, three of my girls are on eggs and all started sitting at the same time. Two have started shadowing but the thirds still have tiny air sacs and appear less developed than the other twos eggs. Third hen is a first timer and has been very inconsistent. Always off the nest for several hours at a time etc throughout the whole incubation.
Because it's thier first hatch I will take alot of the eggs and incubate, leaving each hen to hatch and raise a manageable 3 each. Is there anything I can do to get the timing synchronized for hatch? So the third hens eggs can be incubated with the first twos?

maybe, ive had some sit for 3 days with a pip
Wow! 3 days! Now that´s a long time! I listened to 10 of the eggs today, only one was quiet. I don´t bother to candle the duck eggs, as they get too upset if I mess around while they´re about. I just quickly have a little listen when I know they´re due, and the hen is off the nest. The other duck didn´t oblige by getting off the nest, but I heard her 4 eggs tapping yesterday. So, maybe 13 out of 14 to hatch...shd be tomorrow.... will know soon.

They´re so unbelievably cute, I love it when they stamp their little feet in the stream to raise any bugs etc in the mud. Amazing little things.

Are the third hen´s eggs still alive and growing? It´s probably just because she´s not sitting so well that they´re a little late in developing. You can´t hurry them. Is it because of lockdown that you want to have them at the same stage? Why not leave them with the hens? They´re good moms. It´s less risky.
But if you really want to take some, you could take all the eggs of the first two, and give each of them some of the third´s... That way you´ll get them at the same stage of development.
