PM casportpony she has alot of knowledge about infection with the yolk sac. It looks to me like your going to lose the lil one. Hopefully not but it doesn't look good.. The duckling with the navel issues, is having issues. It does all this, but if it tries to walk falls over on its back. Its the oldest. Whats going on?

I'm afraid Miss Lydia is right, it sure doesn't look like it's going to live. Do you have any Baytril? Baytril is what I've used on a few of mine, but it works best if you give it the moment you see the bloody umbilicus. If you have the 10% Baytril, the dose is one or two tiny drops orally from a 22 gauge needle on a syringe. very carefully, of course. One drop from just the syringe is too much for a duckling this size, the needle makes the drops much smaller. Make sense?

I sadly dont have baytril, the thing is, it wasnt bloody, its just very red and aggrevated
I guess I should have worded that differently... I give Baytril when they don't look good, just like your duckling. I'll also give t if I see any poop in their shell, any discoloration on their bellies or if their bellies seem unusually bloated. Make sense?

I think we have clavamox somewhere
