Looks blue to me but pretty soon to tell, i know the one i had that was my 'new' colour took awhile before it was like? wait what direction is this bird taking lol

Lol it's weird, some days he does look blue others lavender, & others a bluish lavender. Today after a butt wash it looks brown lol.

@Alice28 was it at all possible that Kristof is a girl and the pinning was a dominance thing? My girls do this to each other all the time.

My girls pin some times but other times just chase each other around but girls don't pin at a young age

Really? Lucky you lol. Two of my girls have done it since not long after they got feathers. Maybe 3-4 months old.
They're just about to turn 1 year old and they still do it daily.

I completely understand what you're saying. It's so tough. It would be awesome if we could determine the sex of a fertlie egg and thus decide to hatch or discard/eat the egg if we so wished. Ahh the perils of not being god lol.
Sounds like you've got a good plan though. Keep on loving the 'shim' until you know one way or another and deal with it then. It's all you can do xo

So gang.... I am getting some Pekin Bantam eggs to incubate and I have to admit, I'm pretty darn excited!!!
As pets we've only had our Muscovys, and after researching different chook breeds there are about 6 that I want lol.
What breeds do you all have a soft spot for??
