Here again some pictures from my scovies.

Good looking flock Frank! I like the one second down, it reminds me of a seagull (something like that, anyway.).

Question for all you Scovie people. We have 2 hens that have been brooding on an empty nest for around 2 months. How can I break them? They are really dedicated to sitting. No matter what I do they find a way back into the nest or they invade another nest and take it over.

I would block off all nests or seperate these 2 in an area without a nesting site until they are over it. Being broody is very hard on them and without the resulting ducklings, I don't think, worth it to allow.

Continual broodies can starve themselves to death so since it's been so long I would do everything possible to discourage them.

Per Storey's Guide, seperate them and put them in a well lit area that does not allow dark corners for nesting. This should take 3-4 days but since they've been broody so long, I'd expect it to take longer.

Beautiful scovies! They are some awesome looking ducks on here. I'm beat i've been going all day. Didn't have time to take pictures of my scovies today or get to my sisters to upload them but i will. Finally found a home for my 4 pekin ducks/drakes yes! All i have left to rehome are my mallards. Cant wait to beable to tell which of my scovie babies are boy or girl. i know 1 is a boy for sure in the oldest hatch just anit sure about the others.
