Muscovy keepers share your pics!

My first broody Muscovy of the year decided to sit yesterday. She's sitting on thirteen eggs. Hopefully, she'll stay the course! It's her first time to go broody.

It's horrible Miss Lydia! Lots of rain, wind gusts of between 80km/h and 120 km/h, temps of between 4C and 6C. She's well sheltered though so hopefully we'll have ducklings in 5 weeks.

Seems the weather has been awful all over, keep us updated and look forward to seeing some ducklings. We have a new broody duck thread for this year too if you want to join in.

I'm not so patiently waiting for mine to start laying again this spring. They have been roosting under the porch all winter. They like laying their eggs under there too...

Here we go folks... we hit -3c today.. and compared to what we've been this is nice.

I call this Scovie in a bucket.. she's 1.5yo.. one of our hatches.. Her name is Chocolate Ripple..

Is there water in the bucket that she's trying to bathe in, or does she just like contorting herself into a bucket?
