Muscovy keepers share your pics!

I was wondering if any of you have Muscovy hatching eggs for sale or will have them. I've been looking for the past month and have only found one place (not here on the BYC which makes me nervous) that offered to ship eggs to me, I live in SE Michigan. I also didn't know if I was getting taken advantage of, they said it would be $50 for a dozen hatching eggs.
I really like the Muscovy breed but I had no idea they would be SO hard to find. I was down in Florida recently and couldn't even find any down there

Help, please?
Have you checked on your state thread? I am getting lots of eggs but I really don't want to ship, never done it but I do know shipping is what gets ya, I paid 3 dollars each for 4 goose eggs[good friend gave me a deal] but shipping was 14.00 so was the 50.00 including shipping?

I would gladly give you some if you were local... Shipping is just too much work for me.

Not only is it to much work but what if the truck got in an accident or went down a really bumpy road, your eggs could be jostled or even cracked

I would recommend country hatchery they have really good prices and send u only day old ducklings and all mine were healthy :)

Wow thank you all, for the quick responses. Yes $50 was eggs + shipping and I have no problem paying that, those eggs were coming from northern Michigan so its not too far. I wanted to pickup eggs but no one within a reasonable distance has them.
I am on the Michigan thread but no one has ever said anything about Muscovys so I thought to post here.
BuckOates, thank you for the hatchery suggestion. I didn't know hatcheries even offered them. I will definitely check it out.

There really good, when I got them they were so glad to see me and treated me like I was there mom, I had to sleep on the floor most nights because try would get stressed without me beside them , so there really loyal. So u know when it's a great deal I would recommend 3 chocolates and 2 whites and maybe a blue it black , because there blacks usually carry chocolate genes and the chocolates carry the blue and chocolate gene and white just to have diversity
