Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Ducks aren't made to be chased and can end up injured, their legs aren't made for running.

I didn't literally run around the yard lol.
I spent the afternoon tending my vegie garden and whenever he bit me, I turned around and mounted him.
Perhaps I should have worded that last comment better:)
I never let anybody chase my ducks (kids are the WORST for this because they just want to pet them). It stresses them out and as you said, they aren't built for it.

Miss lydia, I know. I don't allow my son in with the ducks anymore unless its to collect eggs. He doesn't understand that in order to beable to pet them he can't chase him. He will be three this 17th.
muscovylover, I'll stop giving him that affection as thats usually the only time he does it. I don't want him getting out of control.

Aww 3 yrs old, well perfect age to teach respect for animals which i'm sure you are, and Hopefully they will let him pet them if he is calm around them. although hard to keep a 3 yr old calm eh?

I'm sorry i was talking to TherryChicken.

Miss lydia, it sure can be! However he does pretty good, but has his moment. My drake will nip at him though when he pets him and then my 3 year old goes to hit.. I'm sure you know exactly what I mean
