Anybody have their ducks lay in the afternoon? On my days off there are no eggs till after lunch or later. Came home tonight after 5pm and the egg was warm and still moist!

I have seen this behavior in male fowl that I have raised, they don't seem to respect us once they reach breeding age and/or they want to breed us, lol.

Just to add to this conversation , exhaust you raised him he thinks your a female duck so when he attacks you he also is probably trying to mount you

Mine lay early in the morni g. This is off subject, but today is a very sad day. My sister'd dear cat lilly who we have had since she was 6 and was 18, has been euthanized today.
