Goes for all male water fowl https://www.backyardchickens.com/t/561849/geese-trainingOk so my drake is drawing the line with me. He broke skin and I shoved him back with my arm and headed for the entrance and he chased me down and I pushed him with my foot and he grabbed my pants and yanked at them. All I was doing is putting a brick back from cheacking on the mommas to see if there were ducklings. No bleeding but instant bruising and blood drawn to the serfice

Thanks WildWestChick sure has helped with with my drake and my gander.Miss Lydia that is a great post you referenced, lots of good info there!![]()

I have 4 Muscovy drakes and have only had a problem with 1 and he was hand raised by my dh and I from hatch. So not all drakes need to have these techniques used on them, my others were raised by their mama's .Lol I'm planning on using the same techniques to dominate the muscovy drake that I will be keeping for breeding. My ducklings are less than a week old but they will respect my author-a-tai! Lol![]()
Quote: My stud horses respect me, lol, but my one drake and two peacocks don't!
