Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Ok so my drake is drawing the line with me. He broke skin and I shoved him back with my arm and headed for the entrance and he chased me down and I pushed him with my foot and he grabbed my pants and yanked at them. All I was doing is putting a brick back from cheacking on the mommas to see if there were ducklings. No bleeding but instant bruising and blood drawn to the serfice

Have you tried dominating him? Like picking him up and restraining him, or holding him down by kneeling over him(not sitting on him lol) because he may be the leader of his girls...but you need to be leader of the flock. What you say is the law of the duckie land!

He needs to know not to mess with you, him being protective is ok but he doesn't need to attack you either.

IMO, best not to raise male birds by hand, let a hen do it and let them develop a fear of humans. Mine start doing it once they're about a year old and I haven't found a way to get them to stop.

Wow, I didn't know that, so he wont ever stop being aggressive towards me?
My one of my ducks did, the other has not and both peacocks still try to get me, lol. I train horses, so it's not like I'm clueless around animals, but fowl are very different from mammals. I tolerate the peafowl and the one duck lives in a pen with some hens, so I'm hoping that he'll get better. If he doesn't, he'll probably get eaten.
