One more! Sorry for the picture overload guys!

Thanks Miss Lydia. It's so fun watching her change and I'm surprised how different she looks from when we got her. When she is all feathered she is going to look really cool!

Wanted to share the babies that I got from Country Supply. I ordered 10. Five chocolates and five blues but I think I got 6 chocolates and 4 blues instead. What do you think. The arrived in perfect health on Wednesday and are doing well and Thursday I hatched out 7 baby muscovies from my incubator. So now we are overrun with babies. I love it!! Any thoughts on colors would be great.

Awww! Your chocolates look like my Kristof when we first got her :) I think she may have been a little darker brown, but could just be the light. Very cute

Tomorrow I will take pics of the babies. They are so big, 4 weeks now.

Wondering, dd, always friends with the underdog... has named funky beak baby and picked him as her own. He was injured at hatch or shortly after, had a damaged spot on his beak when I got him. trouble is his growth is stunted from when it was healing. I don't know if he'd still be ok to breed being stunted. Should I expect him to catch up size wise?? Will he be ok? Sucks, I started really wanting to keep biggest one, he's turning pure black and getting huge.

Okay I have my first scovy babies right now. I ordered 10 from Country Hatchery and hatched 7 in the incubator. One is exhibiting very strange behavior so I figured I would ask about it. Does anyone else's ducklings climb the walls of the brooder. I think I need to give him a jungle gym or something. He must be bored. Just had to share because it was just so weird to see it all the way to the top of the cage.

Thats how they climb using those lil claws. So cute too, maybe you can find some Scovy olympics for it to enter. got some stuffed animals for them to climb on? mine love stuffed animals. also some heads of Romaine to hang inside the brooder/ they will nibble on them give them something to do. just make sure to sprinkle some chick grit on bottom of brooder.

We moved them outside to the larger brooder in the barn today and they seem to be loving it. I will have to get them some heads of lettuce and give that a try. They definitely need more to do. The big thing is that little guy could hear me talking in the other room and wanted out of the brooder or me to come sit by the brooder and hang out. I think he imprinted on me and when I'm not there he gets upset. Hopefully he will do okay outside. I thought it was funny though so I had to share a picture.
