Muscovy keepers share your pics!

Tha'ts quite possible. However, unless I pen her in all the time, she's going to do this. I really don't want to pen her in 24/7. My yard has all kind of hiding places. Hopefully, she'll use them efficiently. We don't have as many predators as in the past which should help. IF I find where she hides the eggs, would it work to move the eggs to a safe location and her with it?
Sometimes they can be moved but it seems once they have picked out a spot it is hard to get them to continue to brood once moved. I have done it successfully from one building to hatching coop, but you just never know from one duck to the next. But you may break her from brooding but may save her life too.

Hey guys so I candled some eggs to see if they were fertile and I didn't see an embryo so I cracked ten open outside and two had a little white circle , were they fertile ?

Fertile eggs will have a drop of blood in them. At least with chickens I know that's true. I would guess ducks are the same.

Ok we're they ever fertile then died?

I think if they were fertile and dies they would still have the drop of blood in them. I could be wrong, but this is what I have always been told. I've never heard of a white spot in the yolk meaning anything to do with being fertile.... I just know the blood in egg. I think my husband was a little shocked the first time we got eggs that had blood, I just told him the people must have had a rooster get in! Lol

Hi there folks! I see (read) your in deep conversation, but i really would like to show you my ducklings! Just enjoy the pics! They are a blessing!

Only one question: the little drake keeps limping from time to time. I already at niacine to there drinkingwater, but he keeps having those moments... Is this normal??

I LOVE when new ducklings pictures are posted!!!! So cute! I don't know what to tell you about the drake limping. If he's the only one limping and you already added niacin, I don't know. How do his feet look? Do his legs seem to have any sensitive spots? I'm just thinking about what I do to check my dog when she's limping.
