How do you keep the ducks from laying somewhere? I have the area blocked, but they jump over the dog houses to get back in the area. Then its super hard for me to get the eggs

I had to block off every conceivable area mine could find to lay in. and finally they use the stalls or nest boxes for the chickens. I used fencing mainly and hardware cloth.
